Default Are these Headers any good?

Are these headers that sell on E-Bay every day any good or worth the $125.00 that go for on a regular basis. http://cgi.ebay.com Item # 1823172797

I have a small leak in my stock 97 and don't need the best to replace it. My need for speed is made happy on my motorcycle these days.

I wouldn't even put them on a Civic...

Sorry, just couldn't resist. I wouldn't buy em, I'd save the buck and a quarter, and and get something nicer. I'm just not a fan of OBX. I think they make crap products, and their customer service is, well, nil. They have no waranty on any of their products. Oh, and Im just a little bitter... Sorry...

I may stay away from them after reefer_bob's reply. Hey Bob why so bitter about OBX? The headers are made of 304 stainless and if they are good at install they should last years (I would think).

I purchased some products from OBX. And they went bad like a year later. I tried to get some replacements. First I went to the place where I purchased them, and they wouldn't replace it for me. Then I finally managed to get ahold of OBX, which they deal with dealers only, and they were INCREDIBLY rude. What it boiled down to was that the only waranty they had on their products was from the place where you bought the product. The place where I bought it refused to take it back cause they had problems with OBX. I'd rather not say who all was involved and stuff. Needless to say I have never been impressed with OBX components. I think they are cheap pieces of crap.

I will end my rant here by saying I have never personally seen an OBX header other than that picture, so it could be of decent quality. Remember though, all 304 stainless is not created the same. If it was a good header, don't you think you'd see other people running it, or talking about it? Phew, it's time for a

Thank you for the reply and info Bod it would be nice if you would be a little more exact. I have this bit of info on 304 stainless. http://www.stainlessworks.net/FAQ.htm

What parts at least did you have go bad and what went bad on them?

I have a ice cold Canada's Molson XXX 7.8% alcohol beer (only sold in Canada) for you if you give the details.....

Just buy the damn header and see for yourself. Its obvious you don't want to take anyone's word on the fact that OBX is a ******* shitty company. In most things, ESPECIALLY headers, the age old adage is true in that you get what you pay for.
