Faster teg?
So.... right now my car just has a cold air intake... in 2 weeks im putting a catback exhaust in it, lowering it adding rims and tires, what other things can i do to add horse power and make it faster....... im not looking to spend 2 g's for a turbo and im not looking to covert to standard right now
Weight reduction as in removing the rear seats and stuff like that, Also in parts you can get header, pullys, and then for internals you can get cams, but then you can get more serious like milling your head and such or even get a vtec head

Some guy was claiming an 11 sec. 0-60 time for his auto G3 teg.
Boltons won't help. If you seriously want to make an auto teg fast, I see auto JDM SiR-G swaps on ebay for 2k from time to time.

yeah well iv looked it up around here and there what i saw for a full turbo kit.... everything is like 1700-2000.... and the JDM SiR-G is for what the motor? engine? whats it for

Yep, any other car (well mostly old school domestics) I'd say build the tranny up, throw in a shift kit, but nope not with hondas.

He said he saw a full turbo kit for 1700-2000 and he doesnt want to spend more thatn 2 g's. I was just wondering if he was going to do it himself of have a firend do it fo free because is costs money to have a shop install and tune it.
get a jap spec teg auto. they typically have better ratios for your purpose. i didnt wanna do a manual swap on my civic and researched this. they are readily available for an additional fee (like 100-200 bux) when you buy a jdm motor from some distributors. this will work well when you dont wanna change gears all day. when you really wanna go fast, you can step out of the honda and hop into my supercharged 4th gen m6 camaro............j/k (theres alot of panties going to be in a bunch for that one)

On a side note, a Camaro w/a blower is a pretty sick ride, considering I've seen em run 12's ever so slightly above stock.

well... i know i can do a standard conversion.... but it is exspensive.... i would like to do the conversion but im not going to be able to afford it now... when i get a steady job im going to save up for the conversion and for turbo... thats why im asking if there are any internal parts i can upgrade to give it some more kick.

You'll be lucky to get 5 horsepower from intake / header / exhaust, and the inefficiencies of the auto tranny will still keep the car nice and slow.

ehh well i have a 99 ls and i bought a ebay intake cuase like i allways say a pipe is a ******* pipe and it only makes my car sound realli nice for the 20 bux lol i love it and i/h/e will give u more than 5 hp i mean give him a break lol if u dont wana drive manual couldent understand why u wouldent give urslef a ebay pipe with a k&n filter make sure u get a good header u can get some power gains from that and just get the exhaust of ur preferance i like greddy and Hks but there loud apexi is loud aswell
