AC tensioner fell off
Piece of shiza fell off the car the other day. I didn't have tools in my car when it happened, so I found the cheap jack loop tool in the spare and used it to get the pulley out from the belts! Problem I'm facing, bolt snapped off in mounting bracket. I think it's funny, first time in 3 months I want to take the car out, it breaks.
hahaha damn bro thats funny, same thing happened to me when i was on the highway doing 90, the vibrations got so loud from it rattling around i thought my car blew up lol

this happens to everybody eventually.
I've had it happen 3 times, including after I replaced the stock bolt with my own Grade 8 bolt.

I had the same problem, except it must have been my own dumbass fault. The bolt actually came out, and it shoved the pulley & arm into my crank pulley. Never found it, but my aluminum crank pulley somehow survived..
Mine fell out at the Expo this year and took my power steering belt with it.
Once I got home the AC was completely removed from the car. I've always felt that AC and the TypeR don't belong together...

Yes, this is a common problem with these cars! I just replaced the bolt with another 14. If it brakes again I'm taking it out....

Its just a problem. Crappy bolt along with crappy design.

How much is an AC belt? I think Im just gonna cut the belt off and drive around without A/C for a while. To lazy to fix right now... plus I believe the a/c belt got cut a bit when the pulley decided to take a shiza and fall on the belt. (btw seems like I will have to take off a bunch of stuff to get to the mounting bracket.)
