you put what motor in your 89 hb

i wanted to know if any one has heard of any one putting a 1.7 sohc vtec from a 2003 civic ex in a 88-91 ef?

wow this is twice in a day i think. lol i dont knwo whats invovled in putting the d17 into an EF/ED chasis. kind of curious my self

its not simple as a d16z6 or d16y8..

motor is obd2.1 or obd2.2

they dont even have distributors on them and theres no place to mount one..

Mounts are different..

intake and exhaust manifold bolt patterns are different..

look where the alternator is

not worth it dude,,if gonna do anything like that do a k20 and greater engine swap so itll be worth it in the end
