Default Car OVERHEATS! Brand new everything! wtf....Help!

Ok i have a brand new Civic halfcore PWR Radiator w/cap, 12 inch Slim Fan, New Acura Thermostat, New top and bottom rad hose and using both coolant and distilled water (20/80). Bled the system for like a dam hour...car still overheats after driving for like 10 minutes...

The way i bled it is open cap and i opened up my bleeder valve to....I bled it and bled it and bled it ti there was a constant decent stream coming out....i also had the heater on full blast...i have tryed the fan on constant and fan with stock switch...both still overheat...

Also after i came back, i opened the bleeder valve to see what would happen...radiator cap still on, to hot and to much pressure to open it, but coolant came out the bleeder valve and then a bunch of air...and nothng but air and it just kept spraying air out....resevior was also full....

I have a big 700 hp precision intercooler in the front, this is on a DC by the way...anyone have any suggestions why the hell its overheating?....sorry its a long post...

Could my thermostat be faulty from acura brand new???

if u pop off the radiator cap and have it run, will you see constant bubbling?

i am having the same damn problems. let it bleed forever and it still bubbles. brand new everything. i know one thing that isn't helping is the giant intercooler for both our setups, gotta get air to the radiator. im going to try and make some kind of a scoop. i thought it was a blown headgasket, so i replaced that and everything looked fine. so i am in total confusion.

pull out your head and check it with a straight edge. sounds like a warped head or blown gasket

what is the CFM on that fan? i think some of the "cheap slim line" fans are just too weak. i got this one from summit it's 1500 cmf works great.

bad headgasket...retorque head studs...couldve cris-crossed the coolant lines in the back of the block...bad thermostat....who knows man.

all i know is it sucks to not know whats going on with your car...but when you do find it it will more then likely be something little/stupid and it will **** you off...lol!

good luck finding the problem man...!

You know actually it might be a headgasket....but is it still possible for the car to run perfectly fine and have normal compressions and pass the leak down test with a blown head gasket....ima take off my head anyways, the machine shop botched my valve seals or guides and leaking oil...so im replace my omni valve train with Supertech and should i get OEM headgasket or cometic? I have 9:7 je pistons and its bore to 81.5...im guessing its a head gasket as well...

Also how much heat does it take to warp a head??? Like how long can you drive on HOT before it warps?

yes its possible to still have good compression and everything. The seal might be broken and its lifting up under boost. Also i'd go with the oem headgasket. As for the head warping i think you gotta drive like that for a while for the head and block to warp. I had some serious headgasket issues a while back and the car would run super hot for a while. Now that I check the deck surface on that block its still straight. Also when i got the head resurfaced they said it was pretty much just fine.

Ok thanks! Also i i drained my oil today, preparing for head to be taken off and my oil is frothy, greyish....how do i clean that crap out of the crank and oil pan??? Is a solution i can run in there with fresh oil to help clean it after i get the head back on?? or do i just keep flushing it with oil?

EDIT! Actually i take that back...its only in the head...the frothy stuff...oil in the pan is clean!

pull my head today...sure enought head gasket blown....piston #3 was really clean compared to the other pistons, my guess is that it was leaking coolant thru there...

eh oh well, ill just replace head gasket and upgrade from omni's to Supertech and i should be good to go!
