Default car bogs after i let it sit for a week? confused.

i drove from NJ to MD, and back in one day. car was fine, 100%. i left for vacation the next day, come back and start it up. i have a big gas leak. WTF?

i end up replacing return line on the fuel rail (reg to firewall). there was a bunch of dirt and crap in it. kinda scary. cleaned it out and put it back together.

--car bogs down low really bad at about 2500-3500 RPM's @ WOT and 1/2 throttle. --once i am in boost it is fine.
when i start it when it is cold (ex. let it sit over night) it wont stay on unless i give it gas. backfires a lot, bogs/studders etc.

i check and changed my plugs fuel filter, tried another FPR, there isn't any crap in my fuel rail or injectors
, no luck. car seems fine otherwise. anyone have any ideas?

y8 turbo, tuned ecu.

Maybe all the crap in your return line was clogging up your fuel pressure. Now that its gone your pressure is lower and your running leaner.

yeah sounds like pressure was lower, and you're leaning out.

Might want to replace your fuel filter if there is that much crap in your fuel system. Who knows what else is clogged... ie injectors.

would that make that much of a difference that i would need a whole new tune?

did the fuel filter, rechecked the plugs... i think i have a bad tank of gas. i drove to the gas station, put some fuel cleaner in and 10 bucks of gas, car seems to be getting better little by litte...

try some injector cleaner too. maybe that will help
the one you hook in line @ fuel rail.

the FPR i had doesnt fit (z6 fpr doesnt fit on a y8 )

i did run the car with the vaccum line off of the FPR, and I had the same results. same bogging and crap as before.

with that said, is the FPR is bad?

A B series will nto fix these problems. You need to get a wideband on it and re-tune. If that doesn't fix it then you look elsewhere but you're running non-stock engine management with a non stock setup so that needs to be taken care of.

yeah, i think a tune is the last resort for me. im going to check the fuel pump out too. if i start the car it usually shuts right off, unless i give it gas.

i put one of those cheap ebay b&M fpr in my car it it does the same thing almost. If I let is sit over night and I start it up the next day, it starts up and then chokes a bit then idles fine. But when i drive it is chokes at low rpm and then after drive for 5mins it returns to normal? seems like it's not holdin pressure? Might just get an aem one.

my car doesnt return to normal, it keeps choking at that rpm range no matter what. ive had the car outside idling for 30 minutes and still does the same thing.
