Default 98 accord ex 2.3 starting problem...

On a warm or hot day the vehicle will not start..after trying to start vehicle wait about 30 min. and then the car will start (WTF)...any suggestions.. thanx

The main relay is bad. This problem occured mainly on the '90 - '93 models, but we're starting to see them on the 98+ Accords as well.
Remove the main relay, and resolder all the connections. This will take care of the problem, Guaranteed.

Yeah, the main relay is bad, That's what happened to mine to untill I changed it.

hey,
Just to add my 2 cents, if your 98 accord is still under warranty they may just replace the main relay for free. call up honda in your HOOd and find out.
