Default Well i proved i'm not gonna be "the one who doesnt go down"

if i wasnt a believer b/f i sure am now.......everyone goes down!!!

TWICE!! in about 4 hrs......

first incodent: when driving the bike to the rear of my house why i keep it i drive up the nieghbors drivway entrance (i live in a crapy college aptment and dont have a driveway...) then down the sidewalk, about 15 yards, when i turn on the stone walk way that goes to the rear of my house.......... i wasnt paying attention and as i was goin down the sidewalk at my usual 2-5 mph the front tire sliped off the edge of the sidewalk, then washed in the dirt sending me tumbling on down the sidewalk! damage was just a few scratches in the plastic thankfully

second incodent: same senerio, i was just coming home from a ride, about 3.5 hrs after the last incodent.... this time i took extra care when riding on the sidewalk so as not to have a relapse.....well when i get to the back yard i make a large semi circle to the spot where i park the bike.......the grass is allmost worn to the ground from doing it daily.......the dew had just set and again i wasnt being as careful as i should have......as i make the turn agian front end washes.....and i go tumbling.....if u can imagine it was EXACTLY the same accident, just in two different places with two different causes (well actually there was only one cuase and that was me not takin proper precausions and not paying attention) well thankfully both were under 5 mph.....but i think this was a good reality check for me as i have noticed myself gettin more and more ballsy now that i'm gettin more and more comfortable on the bike.......

flame away......(o by the way i had full gear on both times!)

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, is English your second language? I'm not bashing you here, nor am I trying to make fun, but damn! That made for a terrible read.

Oh and, try walking your bike from now on?

This made me chuckle. Only because of where you fell, and the fact that you thought you had to state it.

Can't believe what just happen. On my way to work, head out the front door. Saw a civic 96-00 coupe(99 taillight) silver parked next to my brother civc couple 97, btw both coupe was silver. The guy seem suspetise(spelling). I was thinking in my mind maybe that guy was a theft, and i was gonna go chase after him in my hatch. But decide not to. So i drove out of the drive way looking at my bro coupe and saw that the plate was missing. WTF, this guy stole my bro plate.
Told my bro to call the cop and report in a stolen plate. I have a feeling this guy is going to do something stupied out there and try to get away and leaving proof that it was my bro civic.

Btw, they left the front alone. And i made sure that mine was still there too.

well guys.. i hate to put such a tragic ending to this post, as i just got home from work out on the road and i found out that jake (excoupe97) died in a motorcycle accident on the 1st of august , i realize this post does not look good on him and you would start to think it was his fault, but from what i was told is that he was hit by another vehicle who was at fault.. all the details i have for now, but maybe this goes to show that bikes arent the safest things wether its the rider or just the people out in the cars who dont care about people on bikes

pwn3d n00b! Stop riding!
Hahahahah j/k
**** happens. Those slow little stupid slow lay downs are the ones you beat yourself up about the worst. When I first started riding I was backing out of a friends drive way and at the point where the street and driveway meet was at a good angle so when I reached to plant my foot on the ground all I got was air so I was going down. Luckily I was about to slowly set the bike on teh ground with minimal damage.
