I've had my DC short shift adapter on my '92 lude for not quite a year now. Installation and everything was fine, but in the recent past, if I would speed shift into 3rd gear, it would slam against the lower part of the shift boot under the console and it has now cracked it completely. Under normal shifting, it would do fine. Has anyone else had this problem?? I'm considering writing DC about this because I don't think a $70 component should do this.
