GReddy Evo is the shit!!!
just finished putting a graddy evo cat back on my friends 97 accord and it sounds SO GOOD!
nice and low until around 2 grand and then the damn thing screams, hell yeah!!
the ceramic coating and the welds and basically everything is high quality.
if anyone is looking for a great exhaust, i would recommend this one
later!

IMO Greddy's sound like poo, not aggressive enough. I have a custom mandrel bent 2.25" with a universal matrix muffler and it has lasted longer than a guy I know who has had a Evo for less time, his B pipe began to rust.
I had one for my 97 accord. I liked it but I swapped it out for duals.

My car sounds great because I got a custom exhaust with a Dynomax muffler. That's no big deal, but it was originally meant for a V8 Mustang going through a single muffler. My car has this pseudo race car sound over 4K. The thing scares little kids, and gets the attention of every woman around. It is like mana from heaven.
you're right, the gredd evo does have a soothing deep sound but i like my tanabe dtm medalion better. my exhaust sounds so sweet when you rev it up and when you floor it , the cars roars. when cruising its quiet like stock. whne you floor it and let go of the gas, it makes a nice crackle noise as the rpms drop. very awesome exhaust.

i have the greddy evo, and i love it.. im sure different sounds would appeal to different people ..i havent heard much good on accords.. too many bee cans around here so im glad im not one of them.
My extremely loud Accord sounds like someone took an S2k engine, put it in the car, and left it unmuffled. I wish I had the ability to record it, but it sounds awesome. The only problem is, cops look at me a little too much. Never got a ticket though.
It cost about 100 per door and for my exhaust, I meant dual mufflers. All i have a a y-pipe that splits it.
anyway, damn grandma greddy exhaust too quiet, rusts too quickly too plebian and pedestrian

thanks for the heads up. did you have any problems with rust on your tanabe yet? i try to put the car on a lift and clean the piping after every major rain/snow storm to make sure it doesn't happen.
Where are all you peeps that you get rust on your EVO's ... damn
I'm in sunny FL and my EVO is the best sounding exhaust I've heard. I like the high RPM whale of the Racing Medallion though... you definitaley can't hear the Greddy from down the street like you can the Tanabe.
However, if you have an intake, good header, exhaust and test pipe... it gets pretty close to the Tanabe whale... just deeper toned.
Sounds AMAZING in a parking garage. The looks are sweat on my Accord.

i'm in north florida, and on my 94 ex i have custom 3 inch piping on a dual output HP Muffler with 4 inch tips a piece, sounds hella mean and loud, gets annoying after long driving, compared it to my friends DC catback, and my friends glass pipes on a 66 mustang, and still their exhaust is like nothing compared to my custom catback, and here in florida i've had the exhaust for a year now, and still no signs of major rust... and i live in north florida..........right next to the gulf of mexico......
