The service connector on (at least the 88-89) civic is under the hood, near the prop stick. there is a little white rubber cap on a plug that you can pull off and short with a paperclip to check the CEL.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by mike-y &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">The service connector on (at least the 88-89) civic is under the hood, near the prop stick. there is a little white rubber cap on a plug that you can pull off and short with a paperclip to check the CEL.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Is your car originaly mpfi or dpfi, If the conversion harness is for multipoint, make sure all your swap wiring before the jumper harness is correct, and are you using dist jumpers also??
