Default 88-89 Accord LX-i 11" rotors and Type R calipers

This is just to help anybody that has an 88-89 accord LX-i and wants to upgrade there brakes. You can run 11" 1988 Acura Legend rotors redrilled to 4x100 with 1998 Acura Integra Typr R calipers. The Calipers bolt onto the hub with no grinding or an modification. You need to put some washers onto the wheel studs to raise the rotor up just a little, because the offset is a little different. You can get the rotors from fastbrakes.com. This will only work on the Fuel injected 1988-1989 accord spindles. The spindles can be swapped onto any accord from 1986-1989, but they must be hubs from the 88-89 LX-i or SE-i. Here are some pics let me know if you have any questions.

nice ingenuity but is it really safe to space out the rotors with those spacers on the studs? it's a floating rotor design now. i guess it is tightened down with the lug nuts.

I only used one washer on each stud and the inner circle of the hub still stabalizes the rotor along with the studs/lugs. There is no movement of the rotor.

damn, for the longest time i believe that was it

or maybe it was the front rotor?

anyway, much prop for doing that much work on a 20 years old car, nothing wrong with the age but you got to love it enought to mod it

btw how fast it run with the lsvtec?

I never run it on the track or on a dyno, but here is a little video of a street run.
