whats the most power u have seen on the greddy 18g turbo?

i was tuning a friends car with cromepro, running the greddy 18G turbo, ssautocrap manifold, greddy front mount, 2.5" dp, external wastegate, on a stock LS/VTEC. the car was making 295whp on 10 psi and just over 200 ft-lbs. i was suprised at how much power this turbo was making on low boost. i wasnt expecting anything over 260whp. i didnt wanna give my friend the car with this much HP so i gave it a little bit less timing (running 18-19* total timing) and made it a little richer (11.5 a/f) but the car was still making in the mid 290's. this turbo suprised me

I thought the Greddy 18g was an internally wastegated turbo???

 

I made 350 whp on a built itr. The mani was modded to run a turbosmart external wastegate. this was at 17psi on pump gas. I love this turbo, lots of people knock it but it is more than enough for the street.

 

welded the internal shut and ran a tial external gate
