Default DOHC ZC vs Type R

My friend and i are having a discussion over which motor could produce more horsepower nauturally aspirated?
I think the type r motor can, he thinks ZC DOHC could beat it.
Both motors have to be built for under 3k. Considering I can get a 2000(year) type r for $1900 and he can get his for $400.
What do you guys think? Ha i know its kinda of a worthless discussion but we want to know tehe.
But we are bored at work...

theres no "real" answer.. but heres my though.. the type r would leave 1100 dollars for a cheap hmt kit.. the zc would be pretty fast also with 2600 dollars worth of aftermarket parts.. it also depends on the driver.. car.. and your "hookups" depending on your prices for things.. Id take the type r
