Whats the correct a/c operating PSI for 5th gen?
Just curious what the pressure should be for a 96' accord a/c system?
My a/c works, but isn't that strong. The gauge that I have shows that it is charged (its from autozone), but I am thinking maybe the"universal" filled reading on the gauge may be too low.
Does anyone know the proper pressure for maximum cooling?

there is a range of acceptable PSI's that depend on milage condition, type of refrigerant etc. also outside air temp, and temperature out the vents comes into play.
I would assume of you are askign this questions that you have a stadard dual gauge ac set to read both high and low side pressure?

Low side pressure can range from 30 psi at 65 degrees outside air temp, to 50 psi at 95 degrees. If you are within these specs, make sure that both cooling fans run when the ac is on and also make sure that the temp control **** is fully actuating the air mixture door on the blower. If you are mixing evaporator air with heater core air, it's not going to be very cool. Does that generation car have a cabin air filter?
