Default Helmet Q

When buying a helmet. Do you try to buy one with the same colors as your bike ???

Does your helmet match your bike ???

it doesn't have to, but some people like it that way.

there are soo many factors in deciding a helmet, just make sure it fits well.

Those two both would match the bike. If anything, I'd go with the black because black goes with more stuff than red (in case you get different gear or a bike or w/e).

I would go with the black KBC if i was you, Its more neutral and you should be able to wear it with any bike....

I matched my last arai to my 2 bikes I had at the time....and my new bike came with a matching helmet...Im trying to buy all black gear from here on though.

If you like a matching helmet then get a matching helmet. Its as simple as that. No matter what you do you're not going to look out of place. There are plenty of power ranger riders out there and plenty of people with non-matching gear too. As long as it fits right and is DOT and Snell or BSI approved.

i am from the old school racing theory. your helmet is like your signature. and while you may change cars or bikes throughout your career, most riders and drivers keep the a very similar helemt sceme.

although the 2 wheel guys do seem to change more than their 4 wheeled counterparts.

Nope, I spent more money on gear then I did my bike. I plan on keeping the gear alot longer then my bike. It's neat to match I guess, but Id rather keep it neutral.

matched my gear with my first bike and sold it all with the bike. with the new bike, im trying not to match anything. keeping everything either as many colors as i can, or black so that i can keep all the gear incase i ever upgrade or change bikes in the future.

I bought all silver and black stuff because my F4i was silver and black.
I almost bought one of the new Honda CBR jackets from joe rocket, but decided to go with motogp just so that if i didn't own a CBR, or honda, i wouldn't look like a dunce.

Now i've got a bike with only a little silver on it, and i think it still looks good. If i find a sweet deal on any used helmets that are silver, black, or red, i'll jump on them.

I baught all blue stuff when I first started riding and now I'm on my 5th bike and I got sick of blue bikes so now I'm going to buy all black gear. Its more neutral and goes with any bike..
