i was getting bored with my em2, i wanted to swap a k24 in it, but figured since it weighed so much i should start with something a bit more lighter. so here she is, a 93 civic dx hatch. immediate plans are to install new brakes, GSR front/rear disc's. clean up everything (car been sitting for 2yrs), start on the body work, then the interior, then the engine. engine will be a k24 frank.

i leave you with two pictures of the car, and will respond with updates as i get them. i know i should've waited to make this thread, i couldn't wait though. i am estimating the whole process to take about a year, i want to make sure everything is done right.

i guess you can say your build/thread and also "nikolai." 's build has inspired me to do what i'm doing. i am lucky to have found a virgin shell with not much work needed to the body.
i've been keeping an eye on both your threads and have asked questions when i couldn't find answers, i thank you guys and anyone else who's helped me for not telling me to expletive off

installed si's i had sitting around and gsr front and rear disc's along w/brembo cross drilled rotors in the front

started sanding the car down, i have to get the hang of bondo, its harder then i thought. this is the first time i messed with bondo... i need more experience.

harbor blue...
i haven't decided yet, i really want to do championship white, but thats only if i get the hang of the bondo, and i am up to sanding/priming/painting the whole interior and engine bay.
i'm not sure i want to shave the engine bay yet, that stuff is still in the planning stages. this won't be an all out show car, it'll be a weekend/track car. i'm not having ac/heat in the car.
just going to keep it clean, and hoping for at least 200whp on the k24 frank once i start it up and tune it. then i will work on the engine and hope for 250whp.

i can't weld, so i'm trying to bondo through the small holes in the engine bay that i won't be using, i'm also trying to make everything straight, lots of waves in the engine bay compartments, i might get flamed for it, but i think it'll turn out half-decent.
the rest of the car has been bondo'd up, dents and all, and is ready for primer, i just have to wait for it to arrive.
