sx fuel pressure regulator install/buy

sx fuel pressure regulator install/buy
I am getting a tune next week and the guy told me to get a fpr... specifically an sx one because they are pretty good..
My question is do I really need this for an easier tune and how hard is the install... i know it is not a kit and I will have to fab up all the braided fuel lines
what would you guys reccommend doing??
