holy smokes
ok, so took off my intake manifold this weekend to get to my speed sensor to remove it, and when i reassembled everything, i went to start it and i threw a code for injectors, and its because when i did the mpfi swap i used these plugs that must have been messed up cuz just touching them would mess em up, anywho, i put new plugs on for the injectors, went to start it, no start, i was getting spark, i was getting fuel, so all that was left was compression so i broke out the compression checker, first two cylinders tested 50
so i put oil in, jumped to 150...so i put oil in all the cylinders, reassembled everything, started right up....now it smokes like crazy when it warms up, do you think it is because i put a decent amount of oil in the plug holes, or do you think my rings are that horribly shot?? god i hope its not my rings, i don't have time for that......personally i thought it was just the oil i put it, cuz it doesn't smoke till it warms up....but it seems like its taking way way way too long to burn off
