Default Anyone Experience release bearing return spring problems on 88-91 civic clutches?

I have swapped 2 motors in civics (keeping same trans on each) and have had problems with the throw out bearing return springs breaking causing the bearing to jam in the clutch so it won't release and clutch won't disengage - any fixes for this? The last swap I did - I didn't even touch the release arm / bearing / return spring. HELP!

Get a new spring and make sure it's installed right. Oh and make sure u grease the shaft nicely, but not too much that it would get all over the clutch. Also before installing it move the arm up and down and look at the bearing and make sure it slides smoothly and that nothing is causing it to jam
