Default FWD 95 civic sedan to AWD or RWD conversion idea!

Myself and a few friends have been talking about and brainstorming the idea of making my 95 civic lx sedan(D15b7sohc) to RWD or AWD since i have a sedan. we wonder if we used the 91 civic awd wagon tranny components (possibly the motor;D16a6 sohc)drive shaft and transfered the rear end from the wagon to the sedan would it be possible to do so by transfering those parts to the civic sedan chassis, we know that there will be alot of extreme modifications that will have to be performed but we would also like to hear ideas from other's on this conversion.

Those wagon trannys are supposed to suck. They're very weak & I'm sure the gearing would suck for any kind of race setup.
