i have only had my si for 31 days and the drivers side seat is showing severe signs of wear. the seats in my teg were 4 years old and help up better than these have over the past month. has anyone else had problems with their seats?

 

I noticed the same thing...it looks like it will wear right through the material in only a matter of time

 

I hope the warranty covers these because they look like they are paper thin.

 

If you purchased an interior protection, they will replace it for free.

 

how ironic that when i bought my car, the guy literally said my warranty covers every bolt and stitch in my car, with the exception of the seats.

 

called em today and all they said was "bring it in tomorrow." so i dont know if that means it is or isnt covered.

 

When Acura released the RSX and people experienced cracking of the leather seats, they replaced them under warranty. I don't know if Honda's warranty is similar.

 

My seats still look brand new, but the car is only 4 months old.

 

I just assumed that because I never clean my interior it looks like that haahah

 

mine arent thinning down but some of my bolsters are going soft....

 

This is only an issue with the Si seats, correct?

 

I can see that happening with these seats... just as they do with ITR seats... my only reccomendation is to not drag your *** across the bolster when you're getting in. hopefully honda covers it tho??

 

i was very consious of that after like the 1st month. i now have a way of getting in and out without sitting on the bolsters..... i only wish the woman would remember.

 

I guess thats what we get for buying an economy car, but it's still a sweet *** car.

i still havent taken it in yet, but i have to have em check out the seats, the steering wheel has some places where i guess my ring on my finger has scraped parts of it, and the shift **** has a long scratch on it from my cast (right hand in a cast from broken wrist). so im hoping the warranty will cover all of this because i've only had the car for 35 days

seats will be covered.. Everything else sounds like wear and tear man... I felt the same way about every little thing on my car when I got it 4 months ag, but it seems like the more consious I am, the more stuff gets messed up

 

I have had mine since April and my seats are still perfect. I just keep getting deodorant from getting in while wearing a tank top.
