Default Can someone help me.

Hello all, I'm a new user to the forum and I am thinking of adding some mod's to my 2000 teg SE. I find the information here very helpful but also confusing. Some of the terms (mostly abbreviations) are confusing me. Things like: ITR cat back; I/H/E and ITR tranny. I am picking up on most other abbr. but these one I'm missing all meaning. So if anyone can clear these up for me I would really appricate it a lot. And if they are any other terms used here a lot that I may not have seen yet you could explain those to.

Thanks a lot

No problem dude....welcome to the board.

ITR catback = Integra Type R Catalytic (back) exhaust system
I/H/E = Intake, Headers, and Exhaust
ITR tranny = Integra Type R tranny

People like the ITR catback because it is stock looking. You get some nice gains from it while not being too loud. HT members are very into clean body styles and whatnot.

The ITR tranny is nice because of the short gearing. It's even shorter than a GSR, but has the same final drive...at least USDM ones.
