how to get ECL code

Default how to get ECL code

Hello, where do you get the ECL (engine check light) codes, from the civic 06, i mean where is located the plug to jump it ...nothing on passenger side, and under driver side there is a couple, i dont to risk a short circuit,, anyone with pics ? thanks

You need a OBD II scanner and cannot jump the connector to get the CEL codes. Just plug the scanner into your OBD port and you should be able to pull the codes and clear them if needed.
