It was a stupid move on Tracy's part to get back on the track. But afterwards when Tag confronted Tracy, in all fairness, Tracy said "Don't touch me" and Tag continued to do so. Then Tracy threw the first punch (even though Tag still had his helmet on).

These little pansies are PAID MONEY to race cars. Hello, paid money?! I dunno about you but I PAY MONEY to race cars, and if anyone ever actually paid me I would be a very well behaved little driver. Someone needs to kick both of these guys in the asses.

I wonder if NBC will get in trouble for Tagliani's potty mouth.
That guy who got punted by Katherine Legge near sure seemed like he wanted to throttle her too. Why would she try and hold/gain position versus someone SEVEN laps ahead?

Lola stopped production of their champ car chassis last year in anticipation of the new Panoz chassis for '07. According to the speed website, Team Austrailia only has the chassis that Will Power brought home in one peice from todays race. This looks like it ended Tagliani's season.

racing is becoming ridiculous with the drivers getting out of there cars and trying to fight. The fights is even precipatating down the ladder, as I have been too a couple Kart events this season where people were doing the same thing. Racing really needs to clean its act, with all the bad things that are going around nobody stops to think that maybe a child is watching this and they are going to replicate the same behavior. They are a bunch of over paid crybabies god forbid that act like pro's.

AGREED!! I don't understand why everyone is flipping out.
However, PT should be fined heavily for his actions on the track. he showed a complete disregard for oncoming traffic and could have literally, killed someone. I mean come on, looking both ways before you cross is something they teach you in grade school!!!

I never really liked Tags. Someone else should've gotten the Player's seat in 2000 (like Bentham or Empringham). Things could've turned out differently in 2001...

I agree. It's not new, but it shouldn't be looked upon as OK either. It's very rare outside of NASCRAP, in which it seems to occur quite regularly. This isn't hockey afterall. Both of them should be fined heavily for acting that way. Not just fined money, but points should be taken away and maybe even let them sit out a race. Fining millionairs a few thousand dollars doesn't mean anything anyway.

I bet you it is more common that an altercation will happen at the pro level, there is ALOT more on the line for those guys.
