try bleeding the clutch first and see if it improves any. just from the sounds of it...sounds like what just happened to my clutch. (exedy clutch disc failed ..spring retainers broke)

depends on how bad it really is. I say bleed the clutch like he said and get back to us if it helped any.
And if you are a religious person i advise you to pray. Clutch work isn't so bad, but if its your trany then expect to fork out some cash.

nah its not the tranny because i havent heard no grinding yet, because when the gears dont wanna go in i pump the clutch a couple times and it goes in perfect. i looked in the clutch fluid and its all dirty so im guessing the cylinder that sits on the firewall is messed up. its $54 bucks. so im gonna go ahead and buy it and replace it and see what happens. also they told me it could be the Slave cylinder. i might just replace both. thanks for the help

you'd probably be ok just flushing it all out and using what you've got, but if you feel like changing the master and slave cylinders.....go ahead, just be sure to flush the lines too to get all the dirt out. make sure it's completely bled. sometimes i bleed it till i think i'm done, and then i find out that it still had a little air in it, so i have to bleed it over again.
