anything special about a d15b8 hatchback motor? or should i swap a b series in it?

 

other than it having 8 valves of fury producing an overwelming 70 HP (if you're lucky) and giving you some where around 40mpg (depending on condition could be more or less), then no, there's nothing special about it. keep it if it's in flawless shape and you love downshifting to make it up hills. swap to a B-Series if you don't mind losing a little bit of fuel efficiency and you want more power.
