Default Thank God for Clutchlocks.

Someone tried breaking into my CRX on my driveway. The door, glove compartment and ash tray were wide open. My shades were on the floor. The deck was messed with too, but I guess they were too stupid to know how to take it out.

I'm such an idiot for forgetting to turn on the alarm. My car was definately unlocked the whole night because of that.

I'm just glad that I've got this habit of putting on my clutchlock, even if at a place that I know i'm only going to be after for less than a min. I'm hella lucky that my car wasn't stolen. Its my only daily driver. A bone stock one at that.

I'm suspecting its these two folks that were walking down my block muggin the **** out of me while I was changing my rear break pads. OH YEAH, they left some evidence too - dice. Now I definately know its them because they're always shooting craps on the other street over. I hate living in the ghetto

Yeah, I have been saved by my clutch lock twice now. Even with an alarm.

I recomend them for anyone with an ED/EF/EE.

Priceless.

I don't get what it is. Does it sit behind the cluth pedal so it can't be started?

it clamps to the pedal and puts a "foot" on the floor of the car. The only way to move the car would be to cut IT or cut a hole in the floor, or tow the car away.

Theyre defeatable but hopefully not for a $2000 crx.

ah that sucks, from the valley jo huh? They were probably just looking for something to go ghost ride. Glad they didn't get it, you might want to look into passive arming for your alarm if it features this. What it does is automatically arms your car 30 sec after the doors have been shut. It is a great feature and will insure this never happens again.

Ghostriding the whip = doing donuts. You can't do donuts in a FWD car.

I like this idea of passive alarm though. Does Viper make one?

EDIT: Ghostriding is like "walk the dog with a yo-yo" but instead with a car.

It looks something like this, but instead for the clutch.

I paid $70 for mine. It definitely SAVED my car last night.

Oh yeah, just found out that the thieves took ALL of my CDs. I don't really mind though since they were all burnt. I've got all the original copies still.

I'm going to change the deck to a stock oem tape cassette, connect an Ipod Nano, and start listening to MP3s instead. Its much more more efficient and I can play more music without having to have 30 burnt cds dangling above my head.

My bad. I'm using the wrong slang terminology. When I meant "muggin" i meant "giving me a dry stare as if they wanted to start something"

I have the round style key by the way. Why? Is that bad?

No man,,the round keys are the good ones,,thats probably why they couldnt take it....Trust me,,,, the regular style keys lock can be picked by anyone...

Also you should feel good cause they were obviously not smart,,most theives in jersey just saw off the whole pedal if the lock has a round key...This is why people now days have the entire pedal assembly shotpeened....

You can do that anywhere. Just have an unregistered extra gun, that in no way can be traced back to you, to pin on the purp after you ice his ***. Then you can claim self defence. Thats what I do. Just make sure there are no whitnesses.

Time to ride on them fools.
(note: that's 100% a joke, don't shoot at anyone unless you want the bullets to come flying back at you.)

Living in the ghetto does suck.

LOL! Best of luck to you dood. Instead of shooting the punks, I say you hook your driver's seat up to a megawatt and have it go off when the alarm sounds
