Hi there, I have a 96 del sol si and I need to get the vtec version ac bracket and power steering mounts. My car is an si so I would just need the vtec version brackets right? for gsr? http://www.hondaautomotivepart...gry5=
Im not sure what I need to order for me to mount ac and ps on gsr. thanks.

So you want to put a GSR engine into your si that came with the d16y8? and keep A/C?
If that is correct then you need the bracket for the del sol DOHC B16.
I think that is where I messed up. I am putting a b16 into an EG and got a GSR A/C compressor bracket. I think I will either need a different compressor (which I think mine is toast anyway) or I need the del sol DOHC bracket and reuse my old compressor.
I was about to start a new thread on this myself. But I stick to my first answer that you will most likely need the del sol bracket like this one.

Yeah I have a similar setup in my EK and I used the del sol AC bracket and it worked like a charm. For power steering you can use the gsr bracket that comes with the motor or the del sol B16 bracket I believe. And if you need a p/s pump I have a gsr one with bracket just pm me. Just make sure the high pressure p/s line will bolt up on whatever pump you decide to use because honda used 2 different styles.

You need part number 1. But with those guys it is automatic 5.00 for an order plus outrageous shipping. They have good service but it is almost cheaper to order from local dealership.
Otherwise check out these guys also.

or just get the one from ebay or a junkyard or new from dealership.
Also one from the cr-v will work. PJ7 if not mistaken.

The CRV bracket is a little taller then the Del Sol bracket and will not allow you to retain PS unless you mod the CRV bracket.
