anyone have any dyno's of ball bearing t3t4's
not to many BB t3/t04's around because the cost of having a t3/t04 upgraded to a BB center cartridge is almost the same cost of a Garret GT (GT30?) turbo which is more efficient all around......
but i would like to see how a t3/t04e of the same compressor and turbine specs compare in spool times from a normal journal center section vs. a BB center section.

yeah me too i wish the shodan or one of the other really turbo smart guys would tell me something on the rebuild price on a journal bearing 50 trim to a DBB one
you need to buy the whole center section which is around 400-450 bucks.....
i guess it would be a decent upgrade if you have a used t3/t04e with the bearing and seals all worn out of it...because it will cost you 300-400 bucks just to re-build it. so as long as the compressor and turbine wheels are still good you can spend the little extra and ger the BB center section and away you go..
keep your eye out for used and abused t3/t04's for cheap.
