Battery draining!
I have a '91 Integra LS (I know this isn't the Integra section, but there seems to be a smarter, more active group over here, so bear with me). The battery is being drained after turning off the car. The alternator works fine. After driving, the battery is fully charged, a few hours later it's completely drained. I checked all lights to see if any were remaining on, none were. I hooked an amp-meter up to the battery cable and measured 3 amps draining with the car off. I pulled all fuses one by one to see if the amp drainage stopped. It never did.
I'm out of ideas. Has anyone else had this happen?

The alternator is charging the battery. That was the first thing I checked. I can drive it as long as I want. After driving, the battery is fully charged. It drains while the car is off.

Word up, there's a short someplace, the wire's grounding out to the chassis..
Your battery power is grounding out to the chassis
The only way to fix it is to find where it's shorting and fix that section of the wire...I don't know how to do that, but I know some shops that specialize in electrical systems on cars and I just take it to them...but if u wanna test for it, test everything that's small & and would be on...
like the dome light, for when you open the door, or the cluster wires..
But there's a lot of **** to check, 'tis why I just say take it to an electric specialist, believe me, they can find hte problem in 30 minutes or less O.o
It's like, most aggrivative problems you can have in my opinion

you might also have a bad battery...sometimes bad batteries will hold a temporary "charge" after you drive around for a bit but will die soon after...if i were you i'd hook up an ammeter to the battery and find out whats using power after your keys are taken out....orrrrrr if you don't htink it sthat try disconnecting your battery for a few hours, then hook it back up and start it, and if it doesnt start or is weak, you know you have a bad battery! (any bubbles or bulges on the side of the battery?)
