Default Cam Gears

Ok so I decided I'm about ready to buy some Cam Gears so I can advance my timing. Whats a good brand? I'm sure they all pretty much work the same, but I would like some opinions. Price, labor, ect.

I was quoted for:
Skunk 2: $220.00 for the gears or $295.00 for the gears and the install and prep.

Skunk2's the way to go. I heard many good things about the S2 Cam Gears. I ordered mine a week ago and will soon recieve them.

My advice is to get either JUN gears, STR, or Skunk2. I have STR and they work really well. I have advanced timing and tuned them on a dyno so I definitely noticed a difference. I have heard great things about Skunk2 as well. It really just comes down to personal preference between the three. Which one is most affordable, best looking etc...

Make sure to get a cam gear with more than 3 bolts to prevent slipping.. My skunk 2's have over 2yrs on the road with no slip.
