Default ZC in 91 Civic Hatch

I just bought a white 1991 hatch with a zc swap with a cable tranny. The engine is leaking oil from the valve cover and needs to be fixed soon, any tips on how to fix this would be appreciated. Also, it needs new boot covers for the axles, inner and outer boot covers, I dont have to replace the axles do I, just the boot covers right? Also, I am not sure what parts to get for what so any info would be great, I searched and am still a bit confused. I am not even sure what car the zc engine came from so that would be a great start, anyone who knows, let me know. Thanks
Jon

if the boots are torn your best bet is to get new axles. Get them from autozone or most any other part store and they carry a lifetime replacement warranty.

Is the ZC SOHC or DOHC?

Depends where it looks like it's leaking from...could be Cam seals or simply valve cover gasket & spark plug tube seals. I'd get some hondabond too when installing the gaskets.

I hate repairing axles so I'd get new ones, haha.

The zc that I have is a dohc and I think the axles that go with that motor are the ones from a 90-93 integra? I hope thats right. The leak seems to be coming from the cover, its leaking down into the spark plug are and most of the oil buildup in on the head, near the spark plug openings, not really anywhere else around the edges or anything.

I dont think my crown nuts are loose, I will have to check. Also, to fix the leak, all I have to do is replace the seal and clean it up, does that sound right, any special parts I should need? I should proably replace the head bolts huh? what are the torque specs on the bolts? Anyways, tell me about you zc turbo set up, sound interesting.

zc engines are either a single cam or dohc engine - if it is a dohc the year you would look for regarding valve cover gaskets, etc is 88-89 acura integra 1.6 dohc. With the boots torn on your cv axles it is better to replace to whole cv axle due to replacing boots can be a bugger and there is probably dirt already in the joints that will wear them and cause vibration if not now in future.
