D16 won't rev over 4000 rpm

D16 won't rev over 4000 rpm

We just swapped the head on an '88 D16 and added a skunk intake manifold. The car ran fine before, but now it will not rev above ~4000 rpms. We replaced the distributor and bypassed the EVAC, but that did not solve the problem--any ideas?

recheck your plugs to sensors..sounds like you have some crossed.....

when u put the head back on did u line up the crank gear and cam gears right?like ciovnidca said u having any cels?
