Default Washing the Si

Just wondering what everyone uses to dry your car after you wash it. It seems like after I dry mine there are still little dirt spots. Any ideas?

I would imagine you could use the same thing you'd use on any car. Unless there is some special Si dry cloth.

I use the Mr. Clean AutoDry... it actually works REALLY good. Only rip off is they give you a mini bottle of soap and a trial filter with the unit, which only works like once or twice, then you have to go buy a regular one. It beats drying the car furiously only to still get spots... I took both routes, and the autodry is worth the 20ish bucks.

I drive the car around the block pretty fast, pull back in the driveway and absorber it

if i dont have my wallet or shoes on , i'll pull out the leaf blower and then absorber

the leaft blower works INSANELY well since it gets all the drips out of the creases

i live right next to the interstate, so i jump on i240 and go about two exits then turn around. when i get home i use a microfiber cloth to dry it off. if my mr clean **** still worked, i would use spot free rinse. all it is is purified water though. thats all that $8 replacement is... a water filter. but worth every penny

I have been using microfiber towels because they don't leave lint and have amazing capacity to absorb water. Got to get it off fast to avoid spotting. However, I just picked up this California Water Blade and hope that it cuts down on the time it takes to dry the car.

I wouldn't use that California Water Blade on paint, cause it will kill the clearcoat. I say the absorber works best, but wash it every once in a while.

The interstate is 1/8 mile from the house, I jump on for one exit turn around (mostly just to drive the car again) and dry with a chamois and hook up the air compressor to blow off any excess water

I just take my **** to the carwash and pay someone $3.00 to wash the exterior and then I detail the interior myself.

the watermagnet and super suede cloth by meguiars go a great job i use the water magnet when i quick detail or tax the wax off after applying then go over it with a microfiber.
