sup guys . i figured id make a thread so i can post all my updates in here . its slow moving now im just collecting parts for the build.

here is her last pic before the motor took a poop.


here she is at this point. no mirrors , no wing , no motor , no seats , no cage. all gone. the teardown is slow because of the heat. trying to get the car ready for the cage then paint at this point



still need to take out the rest of the interior.

here is a parts rundown and goals for this build.

motor
skunk2 pro3 cams and pro series cam gears
skunk2 pro series valvetrain
12:1 comp wiseco 85mm pistons
eagle rods
fresh GE sleeves(suspected sunken GE sleeve was the reason for the motor teardown)
twm 52mm 2000 series itb's
custom redzone/spoolin side exit header.

suspension will remain mostely the same except for the cage and some minor things.
the cage will be done by redzone as well as the motor. the cage will be most likely a 6 point. going through both nhra and scca to find a happy medium to compete in both sanctions.

exterior will also remain close to the same with the biggest change being paint. have a few colors in mind but that will be released later . new set of wheels is on the way as of next week.

interior will have alot of changes , new seats , rear battery gone, no carpet , new cage and also a set of air jacks to make wheel changes easier. not the most practical thing in the world but its unique. alot of things will be getting powdercoated and color changed . i plan on changing colors of alot of componets i already have. the end result of the car i hope , will be a car on a new level of form and function. tieing together the gorgous lines of the ek to the powerfull powerplant and suspension combo to make this car a jack of all trades. from picking up eggs from the store to the straits then on to the twisties i want this car to do it all. this car will be everything ive wanted to do to a car but havent had the money or time , so im pulling the stops and doing it the way i want. enjoy the thread and please pm with quesions.
