So I have a 98 Civic LX body with a 1.6L Si engine swapped into it.


Just recently the car would try to start but not turn over.

What could be the problem lol?

I had a mechanic look at it and he replaced the rotor/distributer/plugs/wires/inject cleaner etc.

But again its did it.


I don't have a SI Ecu could that be the problem? Also when I had the AC running it would leak water down to where the ECU is located in the passenger seat where the passenger would have their feet. Think this could have shorted my ECU out?

 

well first make sure you're getting spark and fuel to the cylinders ... !! dont get to far ahead of yourself...!!
