Default Not Tech-Related, but a possible solution for all of us without AC!!!!

I was up late last night and the weirdest infomercial came on.
Thought I'd share because I'm sure a lot of people, like myself, are kind of regretting the whole non-ac thing this summer

I see that commercial all the time and it's retarded. My dad and I discussed this as we are both engineers and his work is all about flow rates etc. A solar panel that big in a car will not flow near the amount of air needed. The car is kept cool by the sheer fact that your window is open and the air has somewhere to vent. Might as well crack your windows while your at it. Plus for that price with cost of TV ommericals....it's gonna be junk .

I regret taking out my A/C sometimes...but then I just floor it

HAHAHA, i saw that commercial and wondered what ******* idiot would fall for it...

It's just a damn fan that goes on the window. The simple fact that the window is cracked is the only reason it's doing anything....

lmao!! the news station here (Arizona) did a test with that piece of garbage like two days ago and it actually made the car like 3 degrees hotter. The car with something was like 146 degrees inside and the one with this fan was 149 degrees!! I guess you could use it in the winter lol!
