Project Mini-Me Catastrophe!!!! HELP ME
OK so i have been to hell and back trying to get this s*** done. So after deeling with this all night long and breaking a few items (i already fixed that stuff) i have come to a major dilemma. My OBD0 dizzy wont fit on the Z6 head. Atleast i believe its a Z6, its stamped PO6 and P28 on the dizzy side of the head. I am not trying to convert to OBD1 at this point due to funds. So can anyone tell me what dizzy to pick up that will work with everything that i already have?
P.S. if your thinkin about doin a mini me swap... SAVE YOUR MONEY, i learned my lesson and now i need to get my car running

This is what happens if you don't do adequate research. And don't try to say you did because the dizzy issue is clearly discussed in several articles on the subject.
Your a6 obd-0 dizzy will not bolt to the z6 head. If you had purchased a y8 head, the a6 dizzy would bolt up.
The common, cheapest solution to your problem is to use two of the three bolt holes. Not ideal, but it will get the car running.
The better long term solution is to convert to obd-1 and use a z6 dizzy.

Thanks Davens.
To the OP: I would not say it's a waste of money, it's actually a nice cheap upgrade, you just need to do your research and have all the right parts. Really you will be better off converting to OBD1 anyway, that's the right way to do it.
You haven't even run into much trouble yet, it took me almost 7 weeks to get mine going, and it turned out all my problems were coming from a bad dizzy. Just go get a new Z6 one and P28, you know everything will fit right, and you will be running the motor the way it should be.
