I doubt that I will be able to go. However, if you have never been to VIR, you're in for a treat if you can manage it.
VIR is a cut above.
The length of the track and its design, together with modern, up to date facilities, just makes it a very good time. The investors spend a lot of time and money on the place.
I like seeing things like GT Live (and Hyperfest). These are events designed to get people involved in legitimate motorsports activities and off of the street.

This is the weekend of the H-T meetup in Charlotte as well as the Beer Drinking Festival in Durham..
I've never had a weekend with so many conflicts of interest.

Spoon Festival at the GT Live October 7-8.
There will be a Car show - you can enter in the car show competition.
Participate in Time Attack street category.
Sim Race - Spoon Sports - Opak Racing JDM cars will give rides to participants.
Spoon cars that will be there include: DC5 # 11 and #12, EuroR #14 and Honda Fit #10.
Anayone wants to see Spoon DC5 R at the track with top drivers. Check this event out. http://www.gtlivetour.com/even....html
Everyone, is welcome and this is a fun filled weekend. There is a drifting exhibition and see lots of action with Spoon-Opak Racing championship race cars.

We are from N California and we will be coming to VIR for the GT LIve Spoon Festival. We have never been there before and we heard its beautiful out there.
We look forward to meeting the group from the area. We are shipping 3 typeR race cars for the Time Attack and Sim race.
If anyone want to know about Sim Race, it is a Simulated Race. Opak and Spoon Sports team will give people rides in their cool JDM cars a the Sim Race on Oct.7 and 8. First come first serve basis only. You can sign there. It will be set up by Opak Racing and GT Live staff. See you there!
