95 civic no start in morning
already changed the coil and main relay, I'm getting spark, battery checked out
good, fuel pump is priming, fuel pressure is dead on, every morning the car
cranks but just doesn't turn over. By mid day the car will start right up like nothing
was wrong with it. WTF could it be???

timing checked out good. Sometimes when i'm driving my fuel gauge will shoot up past full but I know I just have half a tank. Is that the gauge messing up or the float? Also heard that fuel pump check valve might be sticking allowing pressure to drain back to the pump causing a no start. How do I check that?
I changed my fuel filter about 8 months ago. I'm thinking of testing the system for fuel volume. I tested for pressure and I got about 36 during idle and when I gunned it I got 41. I also checked for pressure when the car didn't start. With key on engine off I got 40 and when I cranked it I got around 43. Does anyone know the specs for fuel volume and how to test for it?
