painting aluminum
So i'm doing some shaves on my intake mani
and I'm going to paint it afterwards, can you guys give me some advice?
I guess I need a couple things.
one is a good filler/primer
something to fill in any little grooves/scratches leftover from grinding/filing down the lettering.
also i'm looking for a good aluminum color paint.
I remember hearing about a paint that was made to be aluminum color and paint metals?
anyways, let me know
thanks.

if you want the paint to stick, you need to spray it with an epoxy primer first. then any high build primer will work on top of that to remove up to 80 grit scratches depending on the primer. i dont know if you can buy this stuff in a rattle can though if thats what you wanted to do.
cast coat aluminum is the color you probly want ..
dont go with the regular aluminum it turns out like chrome ...
iam speaking about the paint that comes out of the spray can high temp paints
