steering column electric woes...
Well, I've come to you all in search of some help.
I am NOT an electrician by any stretch.
That being said, I finally started to tear into my accord to fix the theft damage.
I came across a broken headlight switch, broken ignition key switch, and a few other minor things.
Now if anyone can help me identify where the big connectors for the headlight switch, wiper switch, and the big blue one behind the ignition switch, I would be most appreciative.
I know what they look like I just don't see any connectors anywhere near my steering column anymore. Maybe I got lucky and they just got unplugged and fished down somewhere, or maybe they cut them, I dont see any bare wires clumped together for them though...
as always any help is greatly greatly appreciated.
thanks for your time,
dave

Your pics werenot properly posted through another web site so no one can see them, all three of the connectors are located at the item you are dealing with, the light and wiper connector is at the actual switches and the ignition switch is screwed right to the back of the key cylinder, the other end of the harness might be 8 to 12 inches away from there and it may even Y off to another direction also, you are going to have to learn how to post pics, I do not know either. You will have to remove the top and bottom of the steering column covers to gain access to the wiper and light switches and connectors for testing.
pics work for me, even on my roommates computer.
i have the steering column apart of course, and got some advice on the ignition harness, which apparently connects to the fuse box. I will keeping looking around to see if i can figure out the wiper and light switches.
I know where they connect to the switches on the column, I just don't know where they come from, and the theives did something or else I would be able to find them.
thanks for your time!
