Default F4i or GSXR750

Just wanted to get some opinions from owners of either bike or maybe people that just have experience with the bikes, what are some of the pro's and cons on both and what would you pick if you had the choice at hand, i have plenty of riding experience so its not like im a newbie, just curious of purchasing opinions from you folks...other bikes im also considering are 929RR and GSXR1000 (expensive as hell, but feels oh so good wide open on a long stretch of road, had the pleasure of driving both of the previous mentioned bikes and didnt want to let go...)

i would choose the gsxr750 over the f4i simply because it would blow it out of the water. a dude took me for a ride on his GSXR1000 yesterday, boy that thing is FAST!!!! i say GSXR1000 over the 750!!

Have you thought about the YZF-R6? I mean, it's surely not a power monster like the other two, but it is smaller, lighter, and dare I say more flickable than others because of those characteristics. What happen to just riding for the sole purpose of riding.

If you really had to choose between the F4i and the GSXR750, I'd say go with the F4i for it's civilized manner and the GSXR series for it's raw nature. (I am not saying the F4i isn't capable, it's very capable on the roads, more than what most can handle, but compared to the gixxer it's just more civilized.)

Where abouts do you live in Georgia? I'm on the southside out of the 285 loop. Once I pass the MSF course I'm getting a 125 or 250 to start off of. Hope to see you on the road.

I'd go for the Gixxer750. Just about the same weight as the F4i, more power, more torque! I personally like the looks of the Suzukis better and like the more aggressive seating position. (to me its more comfortable, especially on the track and in the twisties, where sportbikes are meant to be!)

Gixxer definately... I know plenty of people who have had many different types and sizes of bikes. Needless to say, they all own Gixxer 750's now.

Most of them work at motorcycle shops and have rode lots of different bikes for service rides/ etc. and they say that it is hard to match the Gixxer.

It's stable, lots of power, and light as hell. Only one minor problem is the fuel injection system takes a little getting used to. (off idle stumble) I know the hondas and the 02 R1 don't have this stumble. But you get used to it!!

I work at a suzuki shop back in jax during the summer....ive ridden both bikes...there is no question that the gixxer 750 will blow the f4i out of the water, but in fact the gixxer 600 will out run the f4i in the quarter. however, honda makes a great engine, but the bike feels a little too light (not as stable) for my taste. Giixer 750 is the way to go. btw if you are that serious into buying a suzuki bike. let me know what kind of prices you get, and ill tell you if they are reasonable....

CDooMe2

I have heard of many problems from racers that the valve train on the new gsxrs have problems. Namely they are rebuilding the motors every 1500 miles due to valve problems. In no way am i trying to flame suzuki, just wondering if your shop has experienced any problems with the gsxr's? Yeah the 750 should be a lot faster, 120 rated hp vs what ~96 for the f4?

Yes the gsxr 600 is faster than the f4i in the quarter mile, but it is all about the rider. Look at the 600cc supersport results, the honda and yamaha keep up with the gsxr. They are all very capable bikes.

I'd go w/ the Gixxer. (Yellow/Black) or (Red/Black/Silver)
