i just bought a civic hatch that has a b18a1 in it. the ecu is flashing 6 times. and i replaced the ecu to make sure and it still is flashing six. one solid then six fast. the harness doesnt look in to good of shape so i ordered a new one do u think this will fix the problem. i kno the engine is in limp mode. what do u guys think what else can it be if the harness doesnt fix it?

have u tried reset your timing?

reline the cam gears and crankpully,then it it with a t/g to make sure your timing right.

 

Code 16 is injectars innit?

 

i think he means code 6 which is coolant temp sensor?hum?

if its flashing 6 times dont u mean 1 solid and 5 fast? thats 15

code 16 is fuel injectors, pump, relay

code 15 is ignitor

 

i meant to say like one solid which means the ecu is working then 6 fast and it is like coolant or somethign but ill try resetting the timing anything else i can do that might fix it?

try resetting ecu and make sure your cam gears are right i seen many swaps not rev over sertin point and once they redid the cam gear aliment it ran fine.
