What are yoru egt's like on the highway?
Just keeping up with the flow of traffic, anywhere from 70-80mph egt' s are just over 1300 degrees farenheit sometimes 1400. my probe is about 3 inches from the exhuast housing on the DP so I can only assume that the temps are even hotter than 1400. what are you all seeing?

Which is between 1350 and 1475 degrees fahrenheit.
I'd say your temperatures are good to go.

shouldnt there be concern if one person is seeing ~1400F 2" from the exhuast port and another is seeing ~1400 3" form the turbo outlet?
I would think that 3" down the downpipe temps would be a bit lower than 1400F

I'm also seeing 750c right at the manifold. I don't think 1600 is the melting point concidering I usually reach 900c or more that the track. although that's just for a few seconds then back down to whatever is normal for idle, 500c, or whatever speed I'm traveling.

That doesn't mean that your head is that hot just because the gases in the exhaust are that hot.
