Default tech help PLEASE

normally i wouldnt post this stuff but i need it for my main mode of transportation right now.

so heres the story... i have a 2001 R1

so my bike cuts out the other day and has no power whatsoever. so it turned out the plug to the rectifier was fried. so i rewired it and all was good for about 2 days. so today i go to take off from a red light today and my bike almost stalled. when i rev it it sounds like a flippin ducati, half puttering up to a rev. this is my main mode of transportation so any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks

I know that in a car, if it starts to misfire, or if a couple of cylinders are not lighting up, the car may sound like a Ducati Don't know if that helps none.

have you made ANY additions to the bike? PC3? if so go back to stock, right now your fire is only half lit. did recheck your rewire? if so tehre may be much heat building up there, for a rewire int hat area you need low resistence , larger wire... is that what was used?
