anti-sway bars on 4th gen
has anyone done this to their prelude...
I have heard that the front one is a pain to get in and out and I wanted to know if it was worth the money and effort to do this. Also is there a write up somewhere for this mod because I cant find one...
So if anyone has aftermarket sway bars feel free to share your experiences and benefits

Hehe, here's another little how-to on a rear sway bar--https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1474587
For the front, many people say that removing the bar feels better, so IMO either leave it stock or just take it out.

the front is easy as hell to get out, you don't even need to drop the exhaust or anything.
i would leave it in, if not for safety than for stability.

It is difficult to measure how much something helps. I put the front Neuspeed on 1 month before the rear Progress. My front end of my car felt more stable and had better turn in. When I put the rear progress in, it was by far the most noticeable difference. I agree that the rear is the best way to go. The front is not needed, but you will notice a difference.

just get a rear progress sway bar with custom endlinks.
you don't really need bigger front unless you want more understeer (assuming semi stock suspension)
and no.....lowering the car doesn't really count

Looking at your replies about the Progress rear sway I assume that the 5gen sway fits the 4gen?
Because I only see the rear sway for the 5gen in the catalog at the Progress website.

im damn sure 4th and 5th gen suspension is the same, that's why the 5lug swap fits, and the shocks and springs are the same.... i have the progress rear bar on my 4th gen also, great upgrade. you will HAVE TO get aftermarket endlinks. it hits on the right side toe control arm i believe
