Default If you want to keep the WTB/FS threads READ THIS.

I am sick of the rules being repeatedly broken. I am locking both of the threads unless you guys can oblige by the rules. I dock users 2% then they cry like baby's and tell me how much I suck.

This does not mean you can make individual threads now. Do so and you'll get docked as the rules state.

So if you guys think our rules suck then we'll just disable the feature. Things I am sick of seeing repeatedly done are:

Only ONE post allowed. You do not need to post your things up every few days. You simply clutter the thread.

Prelude related items only.

No Trial Users, No replies, No comments, No bumping.

The rules go as follows:

RULES:
1. NO TRIAL USERS!
Once you sign up for honda-tech, you will be a trial user until you have at least 10 posts, belong as a member for 14 days, and do not lose any % points.

2. Prelude, specific classifieds only

3. Posts are deleted 3 Weeks from created date, it is your reponsibility to re-post

4. Only one post per member in the 3 week time period. Multiple posts even for different items will be deleted. Edit existing posts if you have more items. No quoting old posts.

5. Pictures are not allowed, unless you have a HARD TO DESCRIBE item you need and you post a picture up with it circled or highlighted. Try to link to the picture instead of inserting it into the page though.

6. No replies, comments about anything listed, this is read-only. Use IM or e-mail. Do not change font size or color.

THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO REPLY OR POST PICTURES!!!!!! PM OR EMAIL THE SELLER / BUYER! CLICK THEIR USERNAME AND GET HIS/HER INFO.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
7. Make a post in the classifieds and link it (optional, but recommended as you can receive no replies here)

8. As you find your items, edit and/or delete your posts so the thread stays current. Although automatic cleanup will can your posts in 3 weeks.

9. Save the text of your post, or you will have to re-write it everytime it gets deleted.

you tell them bitches so they can clean up their act. people seriously need to maintain better posting and cleanup habits for the for sale and wanted threads.. they get WAY to long and clutered.. too many people reply in those threads

i think the rules are fair and pretty clear. i actually like these classifieds more than other forums becuase they are organized and not cluttered. I hope people will get their act together so the classifieds don't get permanently locked.

I think the rules are easy to follow, i sold a few items and when someone wanted a picture I just emailed them some instead of posting up pic.?? I know I like to browse thru the for sale items for sure.

I'd hate to see them go, but they definately get abused by some people.

Theyre nice to have, I dont see them much in the other sections.

The F/S Thread saves me from the eBay ****** that over price stuff and set their shipping at $1000 for H4 light bulbs.

It's like the only place where I can get my OEM hood i need too. ShinobiLude will be without a hood for a long time it seems till this comes back up.

I'll follow the rules! ::sniff::

I guess I have been gulty of having multiple posts in there... I definatly think if everyone just edited their posts like they edit their threads in the for sale forum, we'd only have a couple pages to go though. it'd be wise to edit and let people know when an item is sold as well. i've contacted a few people about stuff on low page #'s and been told they were sold..

keep putting yoru foot down.. beause if not this will end up like the cosmetic/appearance forum.. a hellhole with no rules at all

If they stay locked im gonna be really pissed. I too am sick of idiots posting stupid questoins and replies in there time after time. I myself have posted in there saying to stop with the replies in hopes of letting people know to stop doing it.

I think that frustrates me the most, when people say "hey, i want ur *place desired item here* email me back" or some BS like that.

....pissss me offf!!!!!!!!!!!

If you need someone to be the f/s thread natzi i'd be more than happy to do so. Im in there several times a day neways. Im sure it wouldn't hurt to delete some trash while im browsing and i wouldnt care if people got pissed at me, its their fault for not following the rules and being lazy as f*ck!

rules are rules and they should be followed but that doesn't change the fact that I can't find the guy trying to sell his jdm window visors... so if we could just get this cleared up... I could drive my car with the windows opened a crack in the rain. How sweet is that?! But he's right stupidity is running rampant in these parts and its time somebody laid down the law... chuck norris wants leather boots... chuck norris drop kicks a cow.

^^lol... Screwed..

You must not of read the orginal post huh?

-_-0 Well anyways.. PM'd...

And to make this comment valid in here...

Please "let's" not get the Prelude For Sale/Want to Buy Threads permantly locked/banned.. It's hard enough to find Prelude parts outside of Prelude Only Sections.. It's gonna be even harder for users to do it if these are gone.. So hopefully... please... will we follow the rules..?

- I know I did post some non-Prelude Related material once with my Prelude Related stuff, and PrecisionH23a kindly deleted my post and informed me.. I had no harm no foul with that..

By the way, how long is our punishment gonna last? I've got some goodies that need a new home and due to the recurring problems they are stuck in my basement.
