0w30? man that must be like water. I'm on Mobil 1 synth. 5w30 right now, but I will probably switch to 10w30 this weekend. In the future I may end up just going w/ Valvoline Max Life.

Well, all of my friends and I run 0w 30 because it is thin. When you start it up, it pumps easily and give you instant oil pressure. Also, oil is resistance to the crank trying to turn. So least resistance is more HP. Well, my theory anyway.
I ran (in order):
5W-30 Valvoline
5W-30 Pennzoil Synthetic Blend
5W-30 Mobil1
5W-30 Valvoline Max Life
I've been using Max life for the past 15k+ miles. Supposedly, the formula conditions seals to slow down wear and tear. Mobil1 was nice, but I could not keep up with the costs.

I'm running with Amsoil 0 w30
Havent lost or burnt off any oil for over 4k so far. suppost to be good for at least 30,000 miles or one year. I dont think I can wait that long tho to change it. my thoughts are the washer might go bad. so I should change it anyways.
For $8-$10 a quart it better be good.

For some reason olive oil didn't work to well, I thought at least I could lower my cars cholesterol level.....
